The worlds first Dragon staff that is also a pair of fans, in that order! Duo props are never designed to dragon, but rather adapted to it as an afterthought, but not with Understaff3D! Made to excel as a dragon, while also training you to be able to use any type of fan grip! This design was worked tirelessly to avoid any of the usual duo prop compromises that would make either mode anything less than perfect.

As a Dragon staff, Sozin's Comet is a real crowd pleaser and draws attention with tosses. Its asymmetric design confuses the eye and creates unique patterns and rolling illusions while spinning. Its weight and inertia mimic a 8 wick dragon.

In fan mode, Sozin's Comet's are the perfect practice prop for the flow artist who loves to burn fire fans, but still wants their practice fans to catch eyes. The organic flowing "Fire" design grabs attention from afar, and is used to disguise in many tech abilities and features that typically look very blocky and inorganic on existing tech fans. Weighted to emulate fueled 4-5 wick fans.

Have more options in the way you flow, with no compromises. For a small upcharge, we can imbed your customized name proudly across the tops of your comets!

Due to major US Tariffs brought on by the current US Administration, direct costs to us for filament and manufacturing hardware increased 12%, with another bump approaching. As a prop-shop that only exists for the passion of the craft, we have chosen to split this cost increase equally with you, rather than pass it straight on to you. Misery Loves Company.

Use as a dragon is first and foremost, but upon achieving that, fan functionality was engineered to meet 5 major design goals:
1. Be able to be caught easily from tosses anywhere on the fan
2. Provide as many tech opportunities as possible with intricately placed grip points
3. Match a fire fans weight and mass distribution for best training results
4. Reduce pain on self collision through geometry and material science
5. Be able to be used by anyone regardless of their grip experience + have 2Fan1Hand synergy

--> Near Indestructible from design and material science of TPU. Succinctly put by Wikipedia: "TPU is well known for its applications as an impact modifier of other polymers. It is also used in high-performance films, such as high impact resistant glass structures."

--> Buy it for life. The TPU in these heads will not degrade for long over 400 years. With no Non TPU parts, this simply cannot break.

--> Festival friendly materials so you don't get turned away at the door

-->Made with Zero-Waste, all skirts and imperfect prints, and any plastic waste are upcycled by reheating them in shaped glass containers to make art that we cherish
